“Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist.”
— Pablo Picasso
I once heard someone say that a blank canvas is both the scariest and most freeing thing in the world. I have to say I agree.
I’ve been creating art for most of my life, experimenting with different techniques and mediums until I found my passion for painting. My work is an array of abstract pieces that best represent what I’m feeling at a specific moment in time.
How do I decide what to paint? It’s simple: I don’t. I rarely ever have a plan in place before I start painting {this also happens to be my general philosophy for living life}. I start with one color and let my artistic intuition take over to create something entirely original each time.
There are a million ways to create something beautiful. A blank canvas is mine.
